Jake Shields (born January 9, 1979) is an MMA competitor. He is the last Rumble on the Rock 175 lb champion, the first and last Elite XC Welterweight Champion, the former Shooto Middleweight Champion and the former Strikeforce Middleweight Champion. He has trained extensively with Cesar Gracie.
Shields is currently fighting at Welterweight for the UFC organization. Shields is the #3 ranked middleweight in the world by Sherdog and #4 by MMA Weekly. He is ranked #8 ranked Pound-4-Pound fighter in the world by Sherdog.
Paulo Filho (born May 24, 1978) is a Brazilian MMA fighter as well as a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo competitor, fighting out of Brazil. Filho was the last WEC middleweight champion and his fighting style is often compared to his former team member Ricardo Arona.
Filho got his black belt in Judo in 1996 from Clube de Regatas Flamengo. His black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was awarded in 1998 from Carlson Gracie.
Filho's most notable wins include Kazuo Misaki, Amar Suloev, Yuki Kondo and Murilo Rua.
Urijah Christopher Faber (born May 14, 1979) is an MMA fighter currently competing as a featherweight in the WEC organization. Faber won the WEC featherweight championship at WEC 19 on March 17, 2006 and held the title for over two years. Sacramento native Faber holds a BS in Human Development from University of California, Davis, where he competed in NCAA wrestling.
Urijah Faber is ranked the #4 featherweight in the world by Sherdog. He is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt under Fabio "Pateta" Prado.
