Forrest Griffin (born July 1, 1979) is an MMA fighter and author currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He is a former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and has a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Cameron Diffley. Griffin is also an MMA instructor at Warrior Training Center, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Griffin has cameoed in various television shows and movies and also has a character named after him in a UFC video game. He is also the author of "Got Fight?: The 50 Zen Principles of Hand-to-Face Combat" which is available nationwide.
John Alan Belcher (born April 24, 1984), is an American MMA fighter. He fights out of Remix Mixed Martial Arts in Biloxi, Mississippi, where he is also the owner. Belcher currently fights in the middleweight division for the UFC. His nickname is "The Talent".
Belcher is known as a fierce competitor who has shown the ability to end fights by submission or spectacular knockout. He made his professional debut in 2004 at the age of 20. Belcher holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Helio Soneca.
Thiago Alves d'Araujo (born October 3, 1983) is a Brazilian MMA competitor. Alves started training in Muay Thai when he was 15 and mixed martial arts at 17. He is a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has been described as a "Muay Thai wrecking machine".
In the UFC, Thiago Alves actually lost his initial Octagon appearance, caught by Spencer Fisher's Triangle Choke. The "Pitbull" roared back with a pair of convincing TKO wins, including one over Derrick Noble, avenging Thiago's first loss.
Alves is currently ranked the #3 welterweight in the world by several MMA websites.
