Ricardo Arona (born July 17, 1978) is a Brazilian MMA competitor and PRIDE FC Middleweight Grand Prix finalist. He has competed in PRIDE Fighting Championships and RINGS in his MMA career. He is also a member of the Brazilian Top Team.
Arona holds memorable wins over Dan Henderson, Kazushi Sakuraba and Wanderlei Silva. His popularity came from competing in the Abu Dhabi Combat Club submission wrestling competitions, where he won an open weight tournament. Arona is known for his strength and is considered one of the most physically powerful 205-pound fighters in MMA today.
Gegard Mousasi (born August 1, 1985) is a professional Dutch-Armenian MMA competitor and kickboxer. He is fighting out of Team Jurojin in Leiden, Netherlands and is a member of Russian Red Devil Sport Club.
Mousasi was born in Tehran, Iran and relocated to the Netherlands at the age of 8. Shortly after he started practicing Judo and at the age of 15 began boxing.
Mousasi is the former Dream Middleweight Champion, Cage Warriors Middleweight Champion and the former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion. Both Sherdog and MMAweekly rank Mousasi as the sixth best light heavyweight in the world.
Jonathan D. Jones (born July 19, 1987) is an American MMA fighter. He currently fights as a light heavyweight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He initially trained with Team BombSquad out of Cortland, New York, then briefly with the Tristar Gym in Montreal, Canada. Jones recently started training at the highly regarded Greg Jackson's Submission Fighting in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Jones' debut UFC fight was against Andre Gusmao in 2008. He currently holds the longest reach in UFC History (84.5 inches).
