Brad Lavale Blackburn Jr. (born May 25, 1977) is an American professional MMA fighter. He fought for the Seattle Tiger Sharks in what was called the International Fight League.
Blackburn currently fights in the UFC welterweight division. At 22 he began training as a boxer, but switched over to Mixed Martial Arts after sparring with a few friends. Blackburn was a contender on the IFL before signing on to the UFC.
In the UFC, Blackburn made his debut against James Giboo winning by TKO strikes on UFC Fight Night 14. He would later go on to defeat Ryo Chonan by unanimous decision and Edgar Garcia by split decision.
Benjamin Saunders (born April 13, 1983), is an American professional MMA fighter. His background is in Jeet Kune Do and he was a fighter for Team Serra on The Ultimate Fighter: Team Hughes vs. Team Serra.
Saunders began training in martial arts in his youth starting with Jeet Kune Do. He began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2003 and in 2010, he received his brown belt.
In his second career UFC fight, Saunders defeated UFC newcomer Ryan Thomas by armbar in the second round. Saunders defeated Marcus Davis on November 21, 2009, via knee strikes 3:24 into the first round at UFC 106 making him the first man to knockout Marcus Davis.
Michael Wayne Pyle (born September 18, 1975) is an American MMA fighter. He began studying Taekwondo at the age of 17.
Mike Pyle's fastest submission took just 17 seconds, when he submitted John Cole by guillotine choke at on September 9, 2006. Pyle is also the only fighter to ever submit Jon Fitch.
Despite having no formal Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training, Pyle would go on to be one of the most successful submissions grapplers in MMA history, with the large majority of his wins coming by submission.
