Jonathan Parker Fitch (born February 24, 1978) is a professional MMA fighter. Fitch is ranked as the #2 welterweight in the world by MMA Weekly.
Fitch graduated from Purdue University in 2002 with a Bachelor's in Physical Education and a minor in History. He was the captain of his wrestling squad at Purdue.
Jon Fitch began his career at Light-Heavyweight with a record of 4 wins, 2 losses and 1 No Contest. He is a Jiu-Jitsu blackbelt under Dave Camarillo. His favorite techniques are punches and kicks to the head although he has been known to suplex opponents.
Lyoto Carvalho Machida (born May 30, 1978) is a Japanese Brazilian MMA fighter who competes as a Light Heavyweight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He earned his black belt in karate by the age of 13. Machida is also trained in sumo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This wide range of training has led Machida to develop a very unique style of fighting.
Machida earned a "Knockout of the Night" honor at UFC 94 for his first-round stoppage of then undefeated Thiago Silva.
Machida was named one of the Top 10 Most Superstitious Athletes by Men's Fitness.
Renzo Gracie (born March 11, 1967)is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu expert, a Gracie Barra Black Belt and a member of the Gracie family from Brazil.
Gracie has competed in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA events such as the PRIDE Fighting Championships, the International Fight League, Martial Arts Reality Superfighting (MARS) and the World Combat Championship.
His brothers Ralph and and the late Ryan Gracie are also famous fighters. Gracie is the head instructor at the Renzo Gracie MMA Academy in midtown Manhattan.
